Viola Castellano, a member of our working group, was interviewed by Anthropological Theory Commons on ethics of talking about illegalized routes with potential migrants based on her article “Social connections and ethical entrapments: On doing anthropology of and through the border regime”, which was published this year on the journal Anthropological Theory.
In the interview, Viola Castellano explains what drove her to write the article, the theoretical discussions the article engages with and the way she relates to anthropological theory in the article and more broadly in her work.
